Alison Macbeth - Legal Executive (Estates) | Atkinson Crehan Law

Alison has worked internationally in the financial industry before making her way to legal. A journey that has proven her to be very knowledgeable when it comes to working in our Estates team.

Alison has previously worked in banking, as a paraplanner, a qualified financial planner, and a trustee. She certainly knows her way around effective estate planning, administration, and asset management.

Now powered by her legal skills, she’s an expert at handling wills and enduring powers of attorney. Alison empathetically guides clients through administering estates when a loved one passes away. She takes pride in her commendable “people skills” and attention to detail that ensures nothing is missed.

Alison gained her qualification as a Legal Executive in July 2022, whilst working full-time.

Originally from Scotland Alison has worked across Aotearoa and Australia. She has a real appreciation for experiencing different cultures and ways of life and is drawn to the diversity that Nelson has to offer.

Alison loves the diversity of culture, music, art and fun that Nelson has to offer. She is a frequent attendee of local events such as Cultural Conversations, Voice Collective, film festivals, music and theatre events. When she’s not involved in community events, she’s keeping fit doing Zumba!
