Deeanah offers specialist consultancy services to Atkinson Crehan.
Although born and bred in Australia, Deeanah has a genuine connection to the Tasman region as she spent a term at Nelson College for Girls as a Rotary Youth Exchange student in 1991. After completing her law degree and a bachelor of Asian Studies at the Australian National University, she made New Zealand her home, marrying a Kiwi with whom she has two teenage children.
Raised on a farm near the Barossa Valley, Deeanah has a personal understanding of the challenges faced by farming families and those who no longer live close to “home”. She leverages her legal expertise of some 20+ years and personal background to offer tailored guidance in all matters relating to trusts, estates, asset protection and succession planning.
Deeanah has travelled the South Island and Tasman region extensively both as a 14-year-old with her original Kiwi family and in recent years with her own family.
She is a member of the international organisation, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, the Estate & Tax Planning Council in New Zealand, and Rotary, as it’s time to give back to the generous organisation that gave her her first taste of New Zealand and travel.
